The School of Architecture and Urban Planning was established in September 1997 and currently offers five undergraduate programs and one three year diploma program: Urban Planning (undergraduate), Architecture (undergraduate), Art & Design(undergraduate course), Animation (undergraduate), Landscape Design (undergraduate), Interior Design(Three Year Diploma Program).
So far we have cultivated a total of 3,000 qualified graduates many of whom have gone on to work for major or medium design institutes or construction companies located in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen, Hainan, Guangdong, Inner Mongolia, Henan and other provinces. During the past two years our school’s graduate employment rate has rising year by year and we maintain excellent links with local and national industry.
The school is divided into five teaching and research sections based around the undergraduate major or diploma course delivered. The number of teaching staff within the school is 56, which includes 13 senior lecturers and 30 lecturers.
