The School of Art & Design was founded in 2011 after it separated from its parent, the School of Architecture and Urban Planning. The School currently offers five undergraduate programs: Environmental Design; Visual Communication Design; Product Design; Animation; Artistic Design. In addition to these, SAD also runs a three program in Interior Design.

Within the School of Art Design there are 44 full time faculty of whom 5 are associate professors, 19 are lecturers, and 20 are assistants. The proportion of teachers with a master's degree or higher degree is 68 percent. At present, the school has more than 1210 students. Graduates go on to work in building decoration, decoration, architectural design, landscape design or construction.
